Our Shiraz vines consistently provide exceptional quality fruit, which is why this variety is known to be a specialty at Kingsley Grove. This early release of a satisfyingly full bodied vintage has been careful aged in American oak for 18 months to produce a deep, robust wine with a cracked black pepper finish. With lifted spice aromas and complex licorice on the palate, it finishes with booms of black and blue fruit punch backed by firm tannins. This deep red wine can be enjoyed with grilled meats and garlic mashed potatoes, or around a BBQ. If you want to tone it down a bit try roasted turkey, duck or quail.
